Let's talk a little. Let's vocalize.

... wait, am I allowed to say that? Will I get sued?

... I hope not.

Last time, I spoke a little bit about the X4 Redub project. This time, I'd like to talk a little bit about "vocalize".

I'm sure I've mentioned the name "vocalize" on both YT and NG here and there, but I don't think I've ever given it any kind of explanation, so let's do that:

"vocalize" will be a small compilation of songs I've written featuring Miku Hatsune, starting with "Even If I'm Imaginary" and closing with "turn it off.". It kind of sounds like this:



The EP will contain both the on and off vocal versions, so if you just want to hear the instrumentals that's an option. (Hear that folks? I got you guys covered too!)

So, if any of you out there remember that little teaser vid talking about "unbalnzd x Miku Hatsune COMING 20XX", this was what it was talking about.

And maybe I'll even turn it into a physical CD for you to listen to in your car or something. I mean, I would like that. Wouldn't you?

At the moment: vocalize's lineup is mostly done, with the compositions themselves needing minor tweaks here and there. The bulk of what's left to do is ironing out the Vocaloid tracks, really. So look forward to it! Soon! Maybe!

Oh and X4. Keep looking forward to that too.

In other news:

I was at AnimeNext. I got to see ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D live, they're dope. Turns out SHiNNOSUKE likes blink-182. Siiiiiick.

Cosplay wise, I did the summer uniform for the P4 Protag. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to share this time around. (I pose for other people, yet I seldom take pictures for my own personal reference... I should probably fix that.) It was fun though. I seem to attract Yosukes.

When it comes to cosplay, I really like playing with others while in-character. It's really fun.

Speaking of cosplay, I want to play Sensei one more time for NYCC. Hmm, I've done the winter uniform, and I've done the summer uniform. Is there a uniform I haven't done yet? Hmm hmm hmm~

... maybe I should find a NYCC ticket first? It's gonna be hella hard this year...

And that brings us to our final bit of news: I have a new job opportunity IRL, so working towards that has kept me pretty busy as of late. Rest assured, vocalize and the X4 project will still be done. Just a little slower than planned until I get things worked out.

In short, IRL stuff is sappin' mah updates. Nothing new there, y'know?

Before we go, I'd also like to make a quick little shoutout to Asai Nero Tran, a YouTube entertainer who's recently been featuring my tunes for his vids. I mean, he asked oh-so-politely, how could I say no? Jokes aside, the channels pretty cool, and the guy likes Ultimate Muscle and Ganbare Goemon. I mean, just from those two (and the fact that he asked to use my tunes) you know the cat has good taste. He's also been recently picked up by the ScrewAttack Network, so you know the guy's got substance. If you get a chance, do check him out!
